Train your employees on the new ANSI standards for Splints and Tourniquets

In July 2016, the ANSI standard for first aid kit contents was changed. First Aid Kits are now classed as Class A or Class B. ANSI Standard Z308.1-2015 recommends that Class B First Aid Kits include a splint and a tourniquet. Proper training on the use of these items is essential if employees are to be able to effectively deal with a medical emergency in the workplace. The Emergency First Aid Poster provides important information on the correct way to apply a splint or tourniquet, allowing the employer to train their employees in meeting the new ANSI Standard.

This Emergency First Aid Poster gives employees quick How-To Steps in the event of an emergency. This poster quickly identify injuries, symptoms and first aid to be provided, lists the steps to take when an emergency first occurs, the basics of CPR and how to deal with a victim of choking. The Emergency First Aid Poster also provides space to identify emergency phone numbers. Our Emergency First Aid Poster is durable, synthetic, water and tear-resistant and is available in both English and Spanish.
